Assists Human Resources with day-to-day tasks, as well as works on special projects.
10-15 hours per week during school and 30+ hours a week during summer/breaks
Starting rate: $15.00 per hour
Duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Annual audit of I9's and employee files
- Assist with upkeep of employee files
- Driving recruiting programs in coordination with store and area managers
- Support store's hiring efforts through job postings, updating store website, screening candidates, etc.
- Re-vamp of office level job descriptions and Org Charts
- EEO-1 Compliance/Reporting
- HR Metrics
- Preparation for 401(k) retirement savings plan audit
- Intern will also be introduced to unemployment compensation, worker's comp, OSHA and FMLA procedures
- Special projects as assigned
- Proficient computer skills particularly Excel, Power Point and Word
- Phone and email etiquette
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proven critical thinking skills
- Prefer a undergraduate student ( sophomore or junior) college student pursuing Bachelor's degree in Human Resources related degree
- Ideal candidate is pursuing a career in Human Resource Management
